I’m victimised by just one person
And it’s diabetically
They stop me being the best I can
And that person?.... Yes it’s me
I’m focussed on the day ahead
To do the best I can
The inner me does something stupid
To sabotage my plan
Diabetes isn’t just the numbers
The carbs, and how we eat
It’s also about the inner you
That diabetic cheat
Pull them in and lock them down
Then put them on a lead
Beat the saboteur that sucks
And now you can succeed
