A TEENAGE rugby player has starred in an online campaign raising awareness of diabetes.
Clo? Waterfield, aged 14, of Plymstock, has lived with type 1 diabetes for half her life.
She is supporting a new Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) initiative called 'Talking T1' which aims to raise awareness of the life-threatening illness in secondary schools.
Coombe Dean student Clo? features in an online film giving an insight into her daily routine ? which includes constantly monitoring her blood sugar levels in order to stay alive.
The video is part of a pack of resources revealing what the 29,000 children living with type 1 go through every day.
