I have been using Roche Flexlink cannulas for more than four years without any problems, but in the last few weeks I have been getting irritation (redness and itching) over the whole of the adhesive area.

Has anyone else noticed this recently? I don't think this could be due to an adhesive re-formulation as I got the cannulas several months ago.

Does anyone have a suggestion for prevention/treatment of the irritation?

Haven't had trouble myself, but you need something like Cavilon barrier spray, (made by 3M) before insertion (let it dry, and only when you're sure it has, 'shoot' LOL)

Is another such thing called Opsite, or is that something else?

There has been a few reports about this problem. I cant remember her name but the member from leeds had serious problems with her skin. Good luck 🙂
