Richie George: 'Diabetes battle made me strong'

RICHIE GEORGE admits that his battle with diabetes has given him the strength to deal with anything thrown at him.

The 23-year-old was diagnosed with the potentially life-threatening Type 1 condition at the age of 14.

The No.15 seed manages his health with regular insulin injections.
