I've looked on here but I don't see anything about this.

Does anyone use one of these machines? The reviews on Amazon are positive and one even said that Diabetics should get these on prescription!

Do they work? Is this a good investment?

No idea TBH, though I did enjoy my Clairol Foot Spa, think they're probably still a lot cheaper. If diabetics in general had poor circulation in our feet then there would be reliable, eg BMA, medical evidence to support these claims. IS there?

Your better off playing cricket with Ian Botham, I`ve got one you can have it, Podiatrist was quite adamant under no circumstances use one. Your feet are at greater risk of injury than the average person due to nerve damage and infection, just follow the rules from the Podiatry department.

Wash your feet everyday, check for any abrasions, sores, redness top and bottom of your feet and especially between your toes. If your feet feel hotter than you would expect, especially if its only one, time to seek help. Make sure they are moisturised at least once a day but not between the toes, risk of infection. I`m not knocking the equipment I`m sure a lot of people get great relief from it but from a personal experience and advice from my Podiatrist it wasn`t for me and my neighbour was told to stop using it. (T2)

I hope this helps @C&E Guy? its a personal view only from another T1 with feet issues, its a personal choice but seek HCP advice first please.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll give it a miss then.

Got a podiatry appointment tonight (my daughter actually). I'll ask her.

Good decision mate.
