I went for my retinal screening over 2 weeks ago and still not had results how long do mist of you wait? I'm starting to get stressed about it!:(

Hi

As far as I'm aware it can be anything from 2 weeks upwards.

Why don't you call the number on your appointment letter if you had 1 and ask when you can expect to recive it?

I have my test later this afternoon & for the first time I'll have to wait for the official letter as the previous optometrist used to give you the heads up after she took the photos.

Try not to worry
Lynne :D

When I had my recent retinal scan (at St. Thomas' London), I was told that it would be about a month before the results came through.

All the times I've had it done before the results have been back between a week and 10 days never waited this long before!

Try not to worry Sebstar, I had my screening yesterday and was told 2 to three weeks (although last time they came in a few days). Got the heads up from kind optometrist and had a good look at last years and the new photos - looks like no change for me.

Could be that there's a difference of opinion between the optometrist and the checking center, needing a third review. This is how it works I was told yesterday.
