Funny thing is with those screenings, I get the call up letter and I’m not one bit bothered, I go for the test and I’m positively nonchalant… I don’t think about the result while I’m waiting , but the second I see that NHS letter in the postbox my soul leaves my body

I've seen so many now I don't worry too much. Often (as happened this year) they had a quick look at the screening and the radiographer said she didn't see anything obviously bad, so I was anticipating the usual "Next appointment in 12 months" as happened.
