Immediately following the drops going in is you're vision very or just slightly blurry? Hubby can't collect me from my appointment and it's only a 20 min walk from the house but don't want to bump into anything. 😱

Hubby has agreed to loan me his 'Terminator' sunglasses; let's just hope its not pouring down with rain or I'll look like a right wally :D

For me, I wouldn't say my eyesight went blurry, rather it is that everything is VERY bright, so the sunglasses whould be fine. I found the other day that I would have been better off with some of those sunnies that also block the light from the sides as the sneaky old Sun managed to get in at some angles. I had to walk for 25 minutes from the hospital to my bus, and didn't find it too much of a problem - but be extra careful if you have roads to cross, always use a proper crossing if possible as you can feel a little disorientated/vulnerable.

Hope it all goes well! 🙂

Thank you; I think I might as my dad to meet me there and walk me home...

In my experience it's only your very close up vision that is blurry. So if you look at your hands, they are blurry but distance things are like normal. You shouldn't have any problems walking home. Sunglasses are a must even if it's clouded over 🙂

Ask them to try taking the pics without the drops, wear the sunglasses up to the last minute to make your pupils their largest, I've never had to have the drops. I think the drops mainly affect driving.

I wasn't able to read print for 24 hours but otherwise, your long distance vision is reasonably okay. But don't drive.

Due to very bright sunlight when I went I could not see when I came out. The office was maybe 150 yards away and suitably gloomy but during the walk I trod in a huge pile of dog poo that I didn't see! You can imagine how popular I was for the rest of the morning?

Agree with everyone, walking home probably ok with sunglasses... It's bound to be a sunny day !!!!
Hope all goes well 🙂

Ive had that done twice now......yes you need your sunglasses as everything is very bright.....Im lucky as I have someone to always drive me home from the hospital...last time I tries to go shopping after but couldnt read any of the labels lol

good luck even though I know you will be fine
