GM,

A sort of mixed bag but I am ok with them

Hba1c 38 (so dropping one metformin was ok, as I imagined it would be , can't wait for the ,'chat' with the Clinical Pharmacolgist. Although theoretically she was correct it did increase, but her emphasis was that it would fall into pre diabetic or diabetic numbers.

Cholestrol with only Ezitimbre has dropped to 6 1, still not great but better than previous 7.

Will check PA to see if the Abnormal red appears on any of the results but on the NHS App numbers within normal threshold and more importantly it seems to my untrained eye no ill effects on my liver enzymes as previously with the statin.

So, now following the usual path there will be a call from surgery to see GP who will tell me about statins. I need to think about this, but in the spirit of negotiation I would like to continue with Ezitimbre until my Diabetes review at the end of the year and see then what to do. More importantly, I would also like to drop another Metformin and stick with one.

My Qrisk thingy is 10.1%, I have good BP, am not overweight, good Hba1c I think I will simply ignore the %age, although I know the surgery won't .

So, there you go. Am off to work now.

Wishing everyone a lovely day.

Hi @Sharron1 .I think your results reflect the changes in your medication and your action plan to discuss with the HCP is very positive.
I wouldn't worry too much about the Qrisk. Part of the calculation is based on where you live and your age. Both of which are a broad brush when it comes to statistical results.

That's sweet of you, but tbh I am not that concerned, as long as Hba1c remains under 40, that's good enough for me. As for Ezitimbe it did reduce the cholestrol without any of.the drama re liver enzymes of last year. All the lipid markers are in normal green area, and that is also ok .
So, it's time to leave diabetes for a while.
