I have heard people talk about restarting a Dexcom One sensor by taking the transmitter out leaving it in another room for 15-20 mins then reinserting (apparently it is possible unlike Libre 2) however I am not sure if you only insert the transmitter code, the sensor code or both. The only reservation I have is whether it is healthy having it on for longer.

Has anyone with Dexcom One done this?

Not with Dex One, but my guess would be you only need to update the transmitter code when you change the transmitter after it has expired.

You just need to re-enter the sensor’s code from when you inserted it before. This ensures the factory calibration I think.
