Can anyone advise me? I started completing a research questionaire that I saw on here but wasn't comfortable with the questions. I went back to look at the thread to find the details to ask for my information to be deleted but the thread has disappeared! What have I done! I'm a bit stressed now! Was this a scam or something?

It has been quarantined as no approval from Admin - if the ethics approval all checks out it will be reinstated
Thanks. So it's probably legitimate but just didn't get the correct approval? Sorry, worrier here!

Precisely - probably fine but admin have to approve the ethics approval - I've PM'd the researcher with the next steps so hopefully will be back up and running soon 🙂

Thanks

Don’t fill in any research questionnaires on here unless the post says who it’s been approved by. If it says it’s been approved then you are free to look at it.

Update - the researcher has messaged me back to say that she has forwarded the ethics approval but wise words from @Lucyr
Thanks for the update

I was just thinking, since we get quite a lot of research requests through here, is it worth pinning a note at the top of the page reminding people to look for moderator approval before completing research questionnaires? This one has turned out ok for me but it could have been more problematic!

The ethics approval has been reviewed, and the thread has been reinstated.
