Research study opportunity at Imperial College London- Do bile acids reduce weight and improve blood glucose levels?

Are you interested in participating in research looking at the effects of bile acid tablets on weight loss and diabetes? If so, please contact the research team on imperial.bardos@nhs.net . Bile acids are safe medications that are already used in the NHS for different medical conditions, but we now have reason to believe that they may be useful in patients with diabetes and obesity. You must be a type 2 diabetic on one medication (not insulin) or pre-diabetic to be eligible for the study. The study requires four visits in total to the research facility based at Hammersmith Hospital in London and you will be compensated £300 for your time and effort.
