Please help Natalie with her research of you can 🙂

My name is Natalie Seebeck and I am a student at the London Metropolitan University studying Psychology. As part of this course, I am conducting a research project on people?s beliefs towards their illness/health condition and related treatment.

You have been invited to take part in this study because you belong to a support group or forum that support patients diagnosed with and treated for a chronic / long term illness/health condition. If you choose to participate in this research study, please follow the link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/viewsaboutillness. Each question includes instructions so please take your time to read through them before responding.

It will take approximately 10 minutes of your time to complete the questionnaire. There are no correct or incorrect answers, so please answer in a way that is representative of your view for each question.

Please be assured that your answers on this questionnaire will remain anonymous, and your name and contact details will not be collected.

I understand that it may be difficult to reflect on your illness/health condition and treatment and therefore, if you decide to not complete the questionnaire or wish to withdraw from the study at a later date, please let me know by quoting the ?participant identification code? you enter on page 3 and I will delete all your information collected.

If you would like further information or have any questions related to this study please PM me for contact details 🙂

Did this the other day didn't I ?

I have done it, if it helps us to help ourselves so much the better.

Done, but can't remember the e-mail address from the first page to delete my personal data from file! xx

Completed.

Done......

Done it. Not too sure about the design of the thing. There were quite a few places where an answer conflicted with others as I had to put whatever best reflects my situation.

I found some of it a bit odd too. As a Type 1, the medication I was answering questions on was my insulin, which of course does save my life, my symptoms would get worse without it etc.

Exactly. In the end I answered as though all my meds were one as that's the only way I could come close to my true situation.
