Are you the parent of a child with a long term condition or disability? Have you accessed online peer support groups/forums?

We are looking for parents and carers of children or young people with long term conditions or disabilities who have accessed online peer support groups or forums to take part in a study to understand parents’ experiences of these groups.

It is hoped the results of this study will be used to improve the experience of parents of children with long term health conditions or disabilities.

What will it involve?

•You will be asked some basic questions about you (gender, age, ethnicity), your child (their age, condition/disability) and what online peer support groups/forums you have accessed.
•You will be invited to attend an online one to one interview over MS Teams with a researcher who will ask you a range of questions about your experiences of online peer support groups/forums.
•Interviews will last up to one hour and you will be paid £12 Amazon voucher or £12 donation to a registered charity of your choice.
