Hi, I have received the following research request:
Please send me a PM for contact details, and help if you fit the bill! 🙂
The Health Experiences and the Health Services and Policy Research Groups at the University of Oxford are currently conducting research on the management of multiple conditions from the perspectives of patients and healthcare professionals. We would like to speak to people with multiple conditions in Oxford and Manchester (and their surrounding areas), to try and better understand how patients manage their different conditions, and are interested in speaking to people who have at least two of the following:
• asthma
• COPD
• diabetes
• heart failure
• epilepsy
• stroke
The aim of our research is to improve understanding of people’s experiences of health, illness and healthcare, and provide resources to support people living with a wide variety of health conditions, their families, friends and the health professionals involved in their care. The study is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
Taking part involves an interview at your home or another location convenient for you. You will be invited to talk about your experiences of living with more than one condition, how you manage these, and how you feel the care provided for people with multiple conditions could be improved.
We are also interested in speaking to healthcare professionals involved in the care of people with multiple conditions.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
With many thanks,
Kate Neal
