Request for more blood test, from the Doctor

Well That's slightly worrying.
I had fasting blood test done on Monday, only to get home last night to find a letter from the Doctors surgery asking for a repeat of the test.

Phoned them up, and they didn't seem to need them done urgently, but it has just raised my worry meter a step or two.

It probably means someone dropped it on the lab floor, doesn't stop you worrying, though!

Id be the same , mind you I would hope they would call me instead of sending a letter if something was the matter simply because that would be quicker way of reaching me

The last time it happened to me the person who took the blood did not fill something in properly.

I've had that too. Usually it's because they've missed something out. With me it was my HbA1c they forgot to do & the blood test was specifically for my HbA1c!😱
