Request for help writing diabetic stories

Who are these stories for? I’m not sure I’d want to read stories about all the things that can go wrong with diabetes… Will just make it seem scarier than it needs to be to anyone newly diagnosed or nervous relatives of diabetics etc.

Everybody needs a creative outlet. Some like writing novels, others knit or paint. I’m currently working on a story about a serial killer on a campsite. Called “murderous in tent.”

Just been chatting with my wife on this topic. She reads a lot. Does the Damion Boyd novels with “Detective inspector Nick Dixon” ring any bells?

I did that at my sister’s 18th party raiding a “punch bowl.” After the fruit? Problem was, I was about 9 years old & it was all pretty alcohol soaked. Last thing I remember was a bubble lamp rotating projection on the wall & disco banging. Then I passed out under the buffet table.

Alcohol is concentrated in the fruit by osmosis - it packs a real punch.

I am fairly creative and crafty, but story writing runs in the family - when I can't sleep I write.
