Replacement pump after recall of certain Medtronic pumps.

Wonders of wonders I received a replacement pump after a 6mth wait today.

Tried to set it up only to find the battery compartment is faulty so pump wont work !
This evening I have an email from Moronic to tell me they are still processing my pump and it will be with me shortly.

Conclusion carry on using original pump 🙂

Meanwhile I have been waiting for over a year for a replacement 670 pump due to a Field Safety Notification (mine has a black retainer ring)???

Mine is the 640 and had a recall notice on it due to the retainer ring. Only 2 years left on the warranty so fingers crossed it lasts that long.
