Scale that up for a human. It would take so much power that it wouldn't be possible to use mains electricity, and probably melt your fillings.

Its a fascinating effect, mind, especially if you are a genetically modified mouse so you get diabetes inevitably. Still, I suppose it's easier for them as they no longer have to take metformin tablets.
