Type 2
So Ive been in remission for type 2 over a year now. last check of things in Aug 24 Things were going the wrong way but that was as I had been going through a depressive phase. Anyway the 2 stone loss which but me into remmision Ive gained half of that back and since Aug 24 have had a total change of routine which has caused a change of diet and not in a good way. Thing is Im also very frustrated as all te walking sports Im now doing while get a heap of steps in and heart rate up my skills level hasnt improved in the slightest.

Anyway Im treying to make uop my mind if I have an potential issue under if you have a foot problem contact the surgery immediately from the practice nurse. Well my right foot I have pain accross all my teoes except my big toe below the toenail but above the nearest joint. Its a burning random pain, Skin doesnt look like its borken or rubbed worse on an afternoon / evening.

(When I initially was diaganosed with diabetes I did contact te practice with a fut issue which turned out to be plantar faciatis and I felt when I mentioned the diabetes trying to get an appointment that they wearnt interested, yet saw a pharmicist who pretty much told me she would look at it as feet with a diabetic person needs to be seen by a GP)

I have a podietist appoint early Feb so not sure if In should see what they say as the chances are I probbably wouldnt get to see the practice nurse or a GP before then just not keen on making that call due to the previous experience.

I hope you found the right treatment for the plantar fasciitis, my other half found orthotic insoles were the solution.
Has the issue with your toes been since the very cold weather as it could be chilblains though with that they are usually itchy. Perhaps you can get an earlier podiatrist appointment, if you are prepared to pay then appointments are usually available fairly quickly.

Yes Ive used a couple of different insoles for the palanter faciatis and also found some walking types of shoes like merrils seem to work as well. Took a bit of time but it has settled only if Im on my feet for 4 or 5 hours straight (If working at a pop up shop we do or coaching at an event it now seems to be a problem). As for the toe thing no itching,If it wasnt a hot pain I would blame shoe rubbing on the football boots I use for walking football outside but this actully started during our Christmas break on my other boots which do rub which I dont use becouse of the rubbing left clear rub markers / blister red bits so thats why Ive rulled that out. Though Doctor Google pretty much says its the first steps towards amputation when it stops hurting..

That sound rather over dramatic. Could it be your socks, if they have become less soft from washing or a seam rubbing

Ever since a rather dramatic reaction to the Astra Zeneca Covid jab my feet have been something I need to cosset a bit, but a while ago when I was becoming concerned - its always on a Friday - I was looking for some foam innersoles I used before - only one could be found, but I unearthed a bag of lambskin offcuts.
Using the foam as a template I created some innersoles from the lambskin - almost instant relief - I was surprised.
I have always been particular about my footwear - but I saw what happened to people who wore boots that rubbed their feet raw half way through a day in the Pennines, or who put on old neglected boots to go on a fairly casual hike when back home for the holidays, so I got to over 60 years of age with happy feet.
