I'm chuffed as I've just downloaded my BG readings for the last month and things have got better...
I was in the ok range 53.8% of the time, too high 42.5% and too low 3.8%. My consultant said there were too many hypos, and that if I reduced the number of lows I'd reduce the highs as well, as the highs were caused by adrenaline and other hormones when hypo, or by eating too much to raise BG. So she said to lower my lantus, which seemed counter-intuitive when I had so many high readings.
BUT it's worked! The last week has been 64.3% ok, 33.3% high and 2.4% low. So I know it's only one week and it might not last, but I'm excited about the small improvement!
