When Michelle Snipe qualified as a nurse 30 years ago she vowed to continue with the values that had been drilled into her.
And as she celebrates a milestone working for the NHS, her hard work and dedication to the job has been recognised.
She has been awarded two prestigious gongs. One is from the Lord Mayor of Birmingham after she was nominated by families she has worked with.
The other accolade, for excellence and innovation, is from her employer, Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust.
Michelle, 48, of Worcester, is overwhelmed by both the honours.
