Hi, some great recipes on the site but having difficulties saving and organising these into collections. Can anyone explain how do this?

Hi @LizTheBizz I don’t put any recipes in collections or anything, but I think you can do this by clicking the Save For Later button at the top right of your chosen recipe page. It will then add it to your Diabetes and Me here:

https://www.diabetes.org.uk/diabetes-and-me

Have a go and see if that works and is what you’re looking for.

Hi, it says it’s saved when I click the button, but it doesn’t always show up when I then look later. It also says you can organise these into collections, eg soups, but it’s not obvious how to do this.

If you are following a low carb regime be a bit careful as some of the recipes are quite high carb as they have ingredients like both potatoes and sweet potatoes in the same dish, which made it 33g carb per portion in that instance.
The recipes are not specifically for Type 2.

Click the Folder button under the recipe and choose Create New Collection, then Add. It should then offer you the chance to name your new collection and save your chosen recipe in that folder. You can then add other recipes.

There is of course the traditional approach... When I find a recipe that I like the look of I print it out and put it in a file that resides on my desk. That way I don't have to remember where anything I have seen might be located and much easier to prop up in the kitchen when I try it out.

Have you got your cookie control set quite tightly @LizTheBizz ? (sometimes antivirus packages can do this automatically to help protect privacy).

I believe the recipes may be flagged / organised using cookies. So you may need to give the Diabetes UK site slightly wider access to cookie setting?

Checked the cookies and they seem to allow everything. Still bewildered. I’ve created a couple of collections with one item in each - but if I try to add a recipe to it, it asks me to create a new collection. And then I can’t find the collections anywhere! Seems like I‘ll just have to print them out as suggested above, but I was trying to save paper.

I print mine to pdf's then I can view them on a tablet in the kitchen.

Same problem here - save and then go to the My Diabetes and Me page and there's nothing there
