Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I have type 2 and I'm 39 weeks pregnant, and I'm having labour induced this Tuesday! Only thing is I've been taking insulin throughout pregnancy and I was taking around 20-28 novo rapid with meals and 34 levimir at night but during this week my sugars have been dropping too low that I've only been taking around 10-12 units of novo rapid, is there any reason for it doing this?

I don't know about pregnancy. My advice would be to ask your doctor. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

hi, it may be linked to either your hormones or stress at the thought of tommorrow's induction. Try not to worry, they'll put you on a sliding scale once your in the maternity unit and take over your control for you - good luck
