my daughter runs high sugars most of the time and dr has suggested she cuts down on carbs more than she has been.....she works 12 hour shifts as a nurse and usually takes one of her meals per shift as a ready meal.....has anyone any suggestions of a brand/type of ready meal that’s the least unhealthy! She’s trying to cook more but at 23 she doesn’t always have time or organisation skills to do this when working.

Could one of you batch cook and freeze some suitable meals? Scrambled eggs in the microwave?

She doesn’t live at home or I would def do that for her. Just sent her home after Xmas with meals for the next three days in shift! She lives 4 hours away.

Mmm that is a teeny bit too far to nip over.

Your daughter or you will have to spend a bit of time reading labels. How about you check out meals in a supermarket with a branch local to you both, then order some online to be delivered? Those she likes can be added to her shopping list.
Your daughter is lucky to have such a caring mother.
