Neither do I. It is more of a quiet clunk! Not like the reader which gives me a clear, musical 3 ascending note "de, de-lah".

I have mine set to vibrate only. I was confused for a while because it wasn't. Then I realised if I have LibreLink open, I don't get any notification, but if it's not then I do. (This is for Android. I think things are different on iPhones.)

Still rather annoying (I want the notification for confirmation) but I know what the difference is (even though I can't imagine why the developers made that choice).
 
Did it used to make a sound and now it has stopped?

Has your phone got one of those little ‘silent’ switches on the side?

Have you tried completely shutting your phone down and restarting? And/or deleting and re-installing the app?
 
Hello, could you have wirless earbuds paired? Sometimes when not in use they can disconnect from the charger box. Which sends any audio to the disconnected boxed bud?
