Hi there,

As the title suggests, I've been here before, many moons ago.

During my time 'off the grid', I've been relocated, re-employed and remarried! Settled down again though, 'cos I'm getting on a wee bit and somebody sneaked into my room during the night and dyed my hair a rather fetching silvery colour.

Anyhoo.... Nice to be back.

Cheers

Well welcome back. Sounds like you have indeed been rather busy. Congratulations on the new home, new job and new partner.

Welcome back 🙂

Batus, I think that's something us Diabetics must be prone to, because since I was about 42, that person has been visiting me overnight on a very regular basis, except he does mine a few hairs at a time.

I have no 'clumps' of pure blonde yet (well, only in my brain anyway! not on my head or 'elsewhere' - TMI 😱) but there again looking at my (first)wedding pics in 1971, I see my mother was very grey at the age of 57 so at 63 I certainly haven't caught up with her yet, and that gives me hope that there's a fairy out there who rushes round behind the other nasty one and dyes some hairs back dark brown!

(Possibly your new wife actually said, 'You look extinguished darling' when you thought she said 'distinguished'. I've heard that has happened before ..... )

I can remember when I was 3 or 4 my Mum dyeing my Nana's hair. Now I'm a Nana, and I've been doing it for about 15 years!
