Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I'm a Type 2 diabetic and during the last few days I've had quiet a large rash on my left shoulder and neck. It may not even be related to diabetes, but I would like to ask if anybody has experienced anything similar to this?

Thanks

I don't think this will help but you haven't just had flu have you or taken any antibiotics?
I had flu over xmas and came out in a rash but was just told it was a reaction to the flu - same as you neck and shoulders.
You can look on line for pictures of types of rashes - but if in doubt and it lasts and you feel unwell I would contact GP as it could be down to anything.🙂

Hi Adrian, your best bet is to go and see your Dr as no one can diagnose on the forum.
Hope it soon clears up though. 🙂

Hi Adrian agree with what pumper Sue is suggesting. If you need to wait a few days before seeing your GP you could try getting some E45 cream and applying that just to keep the skin moist. Good Luck and hope it clears up soon !

Could be anything - and you being in Indonesia opens up extra possibilities of heat-related or tropical imfections, so do get a doctor / nurse to look at it.
