Hi - thank you for the explanation and yes it does make more sense🙂
I am surprised that nuts help her to come out of her hypo- and am thinking if she didn't eat the nuts she may find it is her bodies way of naturally getting her out of it and not the nuts at all - although I do find almonds help keep by bs stable through the day - but wouldn't help with hypo). I seem to be quite the opposite and it takes a fair bit of stuff to get me out of mine. However I do seem to be getting somewhere with them by testing testing testing (when I remember!).

I totally agree with how you feel about sending out the wrong message re hypo and then trying to give you nuts too.

I have had the problem in the past that people want to keep giving me high sugar things and forget the carb (e,g a sandwich). I am slowly reeducating them though. 🙂

thanks for all your comments everyone, really appreciate them. Having spoken to you all about it, I'm definitely going to approach it by trying to educate her on her hypos, so that she can see the differences (or for her to get more advice on how she should be treating them). And putting people right if they are getting it wrong (this will be the hardest bit as I'm rubbish at challenging people, but I think I'm going to have to).

Thanks again. You guys rock! 😎
