HI

I have decided to go vegetarian and was wondering if ramipril sutable for vegetarians? if not is there a sutable alternive i can ask the doctor for?

thank you

Ramipril tablets are fine for vegetarians, the fillers are mainly maize starch. Ramipril capsules contain gelatine, which may be animal sourced so best avoided. Since they are the same choice of dose, you can switch between the two. Just make sure your doc specifies tablets on the prescription.

Hope this helps you, and best of luck with the switch. There are quite a few veggies on the forum, I'm sure they will help you along. I'm an unreformable carnivore, and proud. You can become a vegetarian and proud🙂
