I have been prescribed Ramipril by my GP after discovering my kidneys were leaking urine but over the past few days I keep getting hot flushes. Should I be worried?

Hot flushes are not listed in the possible side-effects for the related ACE-inhibitor (Lisinopril) that I take. Check the patient leaflet that came with yours. This could be coincidental and caused by something completely different - best check with your GP.

P.S. I'm kinda expecting my own personal summers to start any day now!

Thanks LeeLee. I have checked my leaflet and it does not mention hot flushes so I will have a chat with my gp.

Evening Ophipity.....I take this drug to but never had hot flushes 🙂
As leelee says see your gp 🙂

I was on Ramipril until last week and was on it for more years than I can remember, though don't remember having hot flushes with it.

how old are you? People of a certain age often get hot flushes. I find I also go hot and cold when I have a virus working on me. Have you read the leaflet that cam with this medication? I find it helps to
