....Is all i have to say.

did 2 fasting morning tests yesterday and today, as follows:

yesterday
7am - 8.3
9am - 8.0
11am - 8.3
12pm - 7.8

PERFECT! i thought. my basal is actually spot on!

this morning....
7am - 6.9
9am - 8.3
11am - 11.8
12pm - 13.2

The only difference? the, erm, activity my other half and i got up to this morning before i did the first reading. Everything else (tye of food the evenings before, time of dinner, levels before bed, activity during the testing period etc) remained the same.

the thought of having to say, 'excuse me darling, are we getting amorous now? if so just let me shoot up' does not even bear thinking about.... 😱🙄

........

:D That made me smile! Diabetes really should mind its own business sometimes!!

The thing is, if you did that you could be sure that you would hypo in the night since exercise helps the body more efficiently use insulin 😱
