Well I had my GAD blood test this week and am seeing the consultant to discuss results next Tuesday. Still not responding to tablets so will be interesting and a relief to know if I actually lean towards type 1 or 1.5 instead of type 2. I'll let you all know if they start me on insulin before my carribean honeymoon😱

Thanks for the update 🙂 I hope that the results are conclusive one way or another so you can get the necessary and correct treatment 🙂

Good luck and keep us posted. It's so worthwhile being properly diagnosed! It just cuts out all the uncertainty and the blind alleys you find yourself in when you are misdiagnosed.
