I caught a cold recently. I checked my blood sugar four times yesterday, but almost every time the number went high above 200 which made me feel extremely depressed, and it didn't seem to go down even after taking extra insulin... I really don't know what to do, Please help me.

200 would be about 11mmol in our UK measurement system which isn't "overly" high, many find during periods of illness that they need to increase both basal and bolus doses, have you checked for ketones as well? xx
