I have learnt so much from the kind and supportive advice given on these forums, and the site in general. I understand about the 4-7 mmol readings before meals, and not more than 2 more after 2 hrs but does it matter how fast the levels drop? And is this related at all to high and low GI food advice? Or ultimately is it just best to focus on as low carb as possible (I'm also low fat) and portion control?
