Hi there I certainly have my fed up moments so know where you're coming from Have you been type 2 for long or is it all new and hard to adjust to? If I have a day when I'm struggling and eat things I shouldn't I go to bed knowing it will be a new day and a fresh start It helps me to try to put it behind me and move on Good luck 🙂

Welcome to the forum, oh no not me!

Sorry, no time to type more, as heading off to parkrun [5km free timed run every Saturday at 9am in England & Wales or 9.30am in Scotland & Northern Ireland] - that's fun, and no need to run the whole 5km, as many people start by alternating running / jogging / walking.

I suspect that losing motivation / feeling depressed is all too common. :( I for one have had at least two such periods, the last of which ended when I was hospitalised for an ulcerated big toe a year ago, and was told that I was lucky not to lose the foot. 😱

And the dried frog pills which doctors are so eager to prescribe at the slightest sign of depression don't seem to work for me.

Still, you have found the right place, so welcome! 🙂 We are a friendly bunch here, so feel free to ask us anything (as long as it's not asking for medical advice, which of course we can't give), or just rant if you need to. As a pick-me-up if you're feeling down, there's usually something cute in the Entertainment section. 😉

Welcome to the forum 🙂. I think you would have to be a different life form not to have down days/periods. This is a great place to find new inspiration, good to have you on board. 🙂

Think ive had an off day today been so tempting to snack - id guess we all will have days when we dont want to stick to what is good for us lol
