I think it depends on the type of pumpkin/squash.
Butternut squash is 12g carbs per 100g.

Like everything else, we are all different so, if you want to eat it, try it and test. It is not very high carbs.

I have bought a pumpkin each year - they are very seasonal, here, but only just this year been assured that it can be cubed and frozen.
I usually risk any squash, even though my usual limit is 10 percent carbs - it is usually the price which limits my purchasing as some of the more unusual ones can be pricy.

I’ll have to test and see what happens I suppose , even if it’s like a small amount id be happy . Next time I’m shopping I’ll grab a pumpkin and eat it then test after 2 hours . Hopefully it’s a good outcome . Some days when I see people they eat pumpkin I feel like I’m missing out
