Pumpkin is doing well with his type 1, vet says vet nurse can now take over his diabetes care. He is feeling better in himself and has resumed his zoomies and climbing the tree in my garden. Vet says I am doing well in taking care and managing his diabetes. What a relief! He has no other health issues but vet did ask if I could check his BG levels in the surgery to see what I was doing. So I have a GlucoNavii and strips for him, he was such a good boy and let me paw prick and test in front of her. Laura the vet said she had never seen a cat let that be done before. I was told that Pumpkin has such a high level of trust in me if he lets me do it, but it was bribery on my part. I promised him I would treat him to a bit of liver from the butcher if he co-operated.
