Hi. I am considering asking my DSN about getting a pump. I live in the highlands so I think my chances are slim. Any advice on where to turn to if I am refused.
I would get onto INPUT UK, they are the people to talk about when you're out for a pump. I'm sure one of the other forum members will point you in the right direction as I don't have a clue where to go with INPUT.
I use a pump and have had it for about a month and it's wonderful. They are well worth fighting for believe me.
Hi Suzie, welcome to the forum 🙂 Scotland is different to England, so rather than contacting input, you should go to http://www.ipagscotland.co.uk/ (Insulin Pump Awareness Group, Scotland). Hopefully they will be able to help you 🙂
