My DSN has just applied for a pump and I am waiting to hear whether I will get the funding for one or not. On average, how long did you wait until you heard anything?

C 🙂

It varies widely, I think. It took me 4 months, because they asked the wront PCT to start with (I live just over the border between PCTs) and rather than telling them they'd asked the wrong people, the first lot threw the application away.
But now the rules regarding PCTs have changed (so now its to do with GPs etc), it could all be very different!

They can not refuse funding as the pump has been recommended 🙂

Fingers are double crossed for you CBee. Took about 4 months about 8yrs ago for me to get one. 🙂

Thanks everyone!
Keeping everything crossed at the moment as I believe it will certainly make my life easier and i've only had D for 2 years.
I will have a look at INPUT's website - thank you for the link - and for all your responses 🙂

It took me six months to get mine but worth the wait.

Think I got signed off by my consultant in June last year and had the pump in August.
