PARENTS in Swansea who have not given their children the MMR jab are being tracked down and asked why.
Mums and dads are being contacted by Public Health Wales to see why their youngsters haven't gone along to be immunised at special clinics.
Health officials have taken the step in an attempt to stop the Swansea outbreak from spreading even further.
There have been 1,039 cases of measles reported in the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg, Hywel Dda and Powys health board areas ? an increase of 28 since Tuesday ? and in total 85 people have been hospitalised.
