In remission from Type 2
I've suffered from psoriasis since I was a child and read today that recent research has found that this can increase your risk of developing Type 2 by a whopping 64%. It appears that the type of inflammation associated with psoriasis promotes insulin resistance, and there are genetic similarities between the two. So, with my mother developing Type 2 in her 60s I was always at risk (as my sister has been told she is) and it now appears I already was anyway.

If only I'd known......

I'm not sure that reads correctly?

Did you mean to say...

"If only you'd known, the chances are that you would not have been able to do anything to avoid it Martin, to be blunt."
