Im just curious if anyone get the same. When Carly have her bath, her fingers go prune-like within a minute or two while mine (non diabetic) take about 20 minutes. I wonder if it's because of her finger-pricks??

It doesn't happen to me - perhaps it's because her fingers are so young and the skin is finer. Do you prick all her fingers, and if not do the unpricked ones prune too?

Yeah I get it as well Ruth both on the pricked and unpricked fingers

I was told not to prick the index fingers or thumbs 🙂 Actually, I'm quite bad - I tend to just use my little fingers, and even worse, tend to use the right one more as I'm left-handed 😱

I was only told not to use thumbs, that's all so why not use the index finger?

I think because, like the thumb, it's used more for other things than the other fingers, especially on the dominant hand for things like writing and holding things 🙂
