On Monday I had my second breast cancer operation and I hope to hear on 11th August that it is all out now. It seems also that my BG levels are improving again so I may escape the medication that the DN wants to put me on in September if it is not back to 43 or less. So many lovely people on here have supported me and encouraged me that I wanted to update where I have got to. Thank you all so much 🙂

So pleased to read that you are through the surgery and I will be keeping fingers crossed that you get the most positive outcome possible. Great news that levels are setting down. I wonder if that is because stress has been reduced now that surgery is over with. You would expect so early post op that levels might be a bit higher due to the trauma to the body so it is excellent that you are noticing lower readings already. So pleased for you!
