Hi,
Has anyone had/have problems with joint stiffness and in particular back stiffness. I'm trying to walk for about 1 hour a day as part of my losing weight plan, (if you can call it that) but annoyingly have been getting quite stiff in the lower back. It may be that I'm over-doing it but just wondered if it is common.

i get back pain as well but never connected it to diabetes gets bad during the night. Is it connected as diabetes still all new to me but learning loads from this site.

I get very bad pain in the lower back, but towards the side, may be just my gait or general unfitness though!

you should maybe give pilates a try it is supposed to be good for back pain
