An investigation has been launched after the personal details of more than 1,000 NHS staff were published on the internet.
The information, a database of NHS workers who lease a car as part of their employment, is thought to have been published online accidentally by an independent contractor.
The contractor was working for East Midlands Ambulance Service (Emas), which organises fleet services for a number of NHS organisations.
One member of staff, who asked not to be named, said: "We understand the information published included people's dates of birth, national insurance numbers and bank account details.
