Hi All,
I'm awaiting test results and, if they go as I suspect, I will need to start injecting insulin.
Can anyone confirm the following with respect to driving for me?:-
I'm looking to confirm these basics to keep my employer up to date. Driving is an integral part of my job so will need to get my company to be aware I will not be mobile for at least three months.
I'm worried about this, obviously. A bit of information will help abate the anxiety
Thanks in advance,

Can anyone confirm the following with respect to driving for me?:-
- I will not be allowed to drive a car or small van for three months after I start injecting. This will allow me time to adjust to the meds and recognise the signs of a hypo. During this time the DVLA will revoke my license.
- After three months. I will be able to get my license back assuming I get medical OK and am able to provide records of regular blood sugar tests - assuming I have not had a hypo where I needed assistance.
- If I have had a hypo that needed assistance, the clock resets and I have to wait another three months.
