prescriptions reminder

It is commig up to Christmas again. I wodered if anyone needed a reminder to keep their prescriptions up to date so you have enough medication to last until normal service is resumed...

I usually ask for double insulin and test strips with the closest prescription to the big day.........

My next one will be getting doubled up........😉

I get 5 cartridges of novorapid per prescription, which lasts me about 5-6 weeks 🙂

Hmm could be worth asking for 2 lots then as I have no idea how long each cartridge lasts yet as I'm still at the fiddling stage

Does the novomix 30 come in cartridges?

Certainly worth asking for two lots of 5 then, it will last until you need to use it. Also, I always have a spare box of 5 in case there turns out to be a problem with the box I am using. It's unlikely, but best to be prepared! Getting two boxes now will mean you will have a spare box for the future (each time you get a new box, use the old 'spare' and the new box then becomes the 'spare' so the insulin is always well within date). 🙂
