Just been diagnosed with prediabetes completely new to me
Welcome to the forum. A diagnosis of prediabetes indicates that your system is struggling to cope with the amount of carbohydrates you are eating and is a warning that unless you make some life style changes such as reducing your intake of high carb foods and trying to get more exercise if you can could easily go up to cross that threshold to diabetic.
You probably only need to make some modest changes to your diet to bring your Hba1C back to normal.
Have a look at this link for some good explanation and some ideas for modifying your diet, many find a low carbohydrate approach successful. https://lowcarbfreshwell.com/

There are plenty of foods you can eat, it is just the high carb foods that you need to be careful of your portions. Basing meals on meat, fish, eggs, cheese, dairy with plenty of vegetables and salads and fruit like berries with only small portions of any high carb foods and cutting out cakes, biscuits and sugary drinks including fruit juice will still give you options for tasty meals.
You should get a repeat HbA1C test in 3 months to see if the measures you have adopted have been effective.
Whatever approach you choose has to be enjoyable otherwise it will not be sustainable, it needs to become a new way of eating for life.

Thank you I will adopt completely healthy eating plan I already have I will book another test for three months time
Watch out for that label of 'healthy' - it can mean a lot of things which are not good for diabetics, raising your blood glucose and HbA1c.

Did your doctor give you an HbA1c number? Probably something between 42 and 48? This will indicate you are in the amber zone and how close to the red (48) line you are.

Welcome to the forum @Congruent

Great to hear you’ve started to make some changes to your meal plan. Hopefully these will be reflected in your follow-up check.

Let us know how things go 🙂
