Hello all 🙂 I'm hoping someone is still up to offer some advice for my Dad. He forgot to click his pen this morning and didn't realise till leter in the day, his bloods came in at 21 later in the day and he's naturally concerned as to what to do as there is no access to 111, emergency GPs or anyone else. Thank you.

Start at the beginning - what type of diabetes does dad have, is it insulin you are talking about in a pen and if so, which insulin? If not insulin, what?

Can you provide more information about what type of injection your father uses?
Is it insulin or something else?
If insulin (the only thing I know about - sorry), what type of insulin - long acting or mixed or fast acting?

How’s your dad today @Captain Z ? What medication is he taking? The answer to what to do would depend on that.

@Captain Z If it’s insulin he’s taking, there are devices that help you remember whether you’ve taken it.
